Designed to complement any scheme in practice in schools, this collection of attractively-illustrated activities will provide an invaluable resource for all primary school teachers. The book is divided into sections that are based on the programmes of study, such as "Ourselves", "Forces", "Energy", "Animals" and "Sound". The activities are designed to help develop scientific skills as set out in Attainment Target 1: scientific investigation and can be undertaken either during science sessions, or as part of cross-curricular topic work. There will be an explanatory chart linking the activities to the National Curriculum.
