In 1994 he started an aid project in Bosnia, which has now become a registered charity. In addition, Paul has been a lay preacher for 30 years + and this is where his story-telling has developed, along with his contributions to BBC Radio 4's 'Thoughts for the Day' and that of Radion Nottingham too.
