Description
This book includes selected papers from the 7th International Conference on Smart Vehicular Technology, Transportation, Communication, and Applications (VTCA 2025), held during November 21-23, 2025. The book includes research work from engineers, researchers, and practitioners interested in the advances and applications in the field of vehicle technology and communication. The book covers three tracks, namely (1) vehicular electronics, (2) intelligent transportation systems and applications, and (3) vehicular networking security.

Persons
Xinhua Jiang received the M.S. degree in traffic communication engineering from The Changsha Rail University, in 1988. He was Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the School of Information Engineering in The Central South University, from 2001 to 2016. He was First President of Fujian University of Technology from 2003 to 2016. Now he is President of Yango University in Fujian, China. He has published over 200 papers in authoritative journals such as Chinese "Journal of Computer Science", "Journal of Instrumentation", "Journal of Electronics", "Journal of Transportation Engineering", "Control Theory and Decision making", "Journal of Electrical Engineering", "Information and Control", as well as academic conferences such as IEEE and ICIT international conferences. Among them, more than 120 papers have been included in EI/SCI. More than 40 national invention patents have been authorized. His main research interests include intelligent control, intelligent traffic information, and signal processing.
Shaoquan Ni is currently Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the School of Transportation and Logistics, Southwest Jiaotong University, China. He is also Executive Deputy Director of the National Railway Train Diagram Development Research and Training Center. The computerized diagramming system software he led research on is widely used on China's railways. He has published over 40 papers in major domestic and international journals (over 20 of which have been indexed by SCIE and EI) and has presided over 10 national and provincial projects.
Jeng-Shyang Pan received a B.S. degree in electronic engineering from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 1986, an M.S. degree in communication engineering from the National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, in 1988, and a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Edinburgh, UK, in 1996. He is currently Professor at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, China. He is IET Fellow in the UK and has been Vice Chair of the IEEE Tainan Section and Tainan Chapter Chair of the IEEE Signal Processing Society. He has published more than 300 journal papers, 400 conference papers, 35 book chapters, and 22 books. His current research interests include information hiding, artificial intelligence, and wireless sensor networks.
Tien-Wen Sung received his Ph.D. degree in computer and communication engineering from Department of Electrical Engineering at Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, in 2014. He is currently Full Professor in the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Fujian University of Technology, China. He is awarded the Taiwanese Outstanding Talents in Fujian Province of China. He is now Executive Editor of Journal of Information Hiding and Multimedia Processing and Associate Editor of Journal of Network Intelligence. As Guest Editor, he has edited several special issues for SCIE journals. His research interests include artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, wireless sensor networks, and U-learning.
