Join the adventures of Pirate the narrowboat and experience life aboard a 70' tug on the British canals. Find out about the waterways, take a look inside a narrowboat and then take a journey through a lock, to take Pirate down to a lower level of water. A good introduction for children who are about to experience narrowboating for the first time. Part of the series entitled "The Adventures Of Pirate", soon to be joined by "Pirate In The Dock", when Pirate goes into dry dock to have his rudder fixed.

Janul grew up in the Black Country, living in Quarry Bank, UK and grew
up surrounded by derelict canals. Much has changed.
Writing from the age of 12, including songs, poetry, and shows, Janul had no idea where the tales would lead and had to wait a long time for her canal experiences to fill the gaps.
After suffering the day job for most of her life and by now living full
time on the canal, Janul escaped the rat race and took her place on the
UK canals, working on and owning a variety of boats, which indulged
her lifelong passion.
Janul can be seen with her boats, Storm, The Crimson Pirate, BCN 108
and occasionally, with the truly, unruly Constance.
