Write Ways

This resource for Junior and Middle School teachers explains how to teach the writing of different genres. Emphasis is placed on factual writing, but chapters on traditional and modern fiction are also featured. The text provides suggestions for classroom activities, checklists, sample units of work and planning strategies, assessment and evaluation. Although originally published in Australia, the text is totally in line with the National Curriculum and Scottish Curriculum, and refers to many authors used in UK schools.
