Description
I type these words, we just got past the Coronavirus or Covid-19 pandemic, at least the first wave (assuming there will be a second wave).
Many panicked; stores ran out of basic supplies. Many died, many more were sick. Several of my friends had contracted the virus, and I lost a few people I knew. Before the pandemic, for twenty years, people made fun of me for being a prepper and a survivalist. During the first month or so after the outbreak, I was fielding calls daily from people apologizing to me for teasing me all those years. After that, many individuals contacted me asking for suggestions and aid to help them through the crisis. I did mention that during a crisis is not the time to start preparing, but there were some things that they could do to help them through the current predicament.
As I write, some people are speculating about a second wave. Some are saying that it will be worse than the first while others say that nothing will happen.
I do not preach one way or another, nor do I take any political position. I just like to look at what is going on, what has happened, and plan accordingly. By the time you read this, you will already know what happened regarding a second wave.
While Covid-19 was at its height, people asked me to give classes on how to be prepared for something like this in the future. I started doing research for those classes and taking copious notes for class lessons. This book is the culmination of that research that I can now distribute with the aim of helping a larger number of people.
