Laboratory Duplicating Materials

Duplicating materials must routinely accurately reproduce the details of the master cast and thus contribute significantly to the ultimate close adaptation and success of a removable prosthesis or any fixed indirect restoration. The most important characteristics of any duplicating material should include high dimensional accuracy, exact reproduction of details, good flow ability, non significant setting contraction, high tear resistance and easy removal and handling.
