Description
In the year 2002 universities of Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Germany formed the consortium Baltic Sea Virtual Campus (BSVC) mainly funded by the EU-program INTERREG III b. The overall goal for this consortium was to offer virtual study programs for the Baltic Sea Region (BSR). One of the virtual study programs was the master program "Industrial Engineering".
While running this virtual study program it was to be seen that students do not only want to study internet based. They also want to read the module's content on paper though they miss part of the virtual information like animations, audios, etc. But sometimes it's easier to read a book than using the internet. Therefore all contents of the modules got additionally processed as script files. Some of these script files are already printed as books; others will follow.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hans Janisch ("flag holder" of the master program "Industrial Engineering" at the BSVC)
