Description
This book brings together leading clinicians and scholars from across the globe to explore timely and challenging topics in sexual health and psychotherapy. Rooted in presentations from the 2nd International Symposium on Sex Therapy, this volume offers practical guidance on navigating ADHD in relationships, medication-related sexual dysfunction, and body image in the context of trauma and sexual identity. Contributors also examine compulsory heterosexuality, the ethics of working with religious mixed-orientation couples, and the therapeutic use of romance novels. A comparative legal analysis of psychiatric treatment for sex offenders and a developmental model of minor attraction further enrich the volume. Designed for sex therapists, psychologists, and advanced trainees, this book emphasizes clinical applicability, cultural nuance, and evidence-based care-making it an essential resource for professionals working at the intersection of sexuality, mental health, and human relationships.
