Public Domain 1992

"Public Domain 1992" is the seventh annual edition of the Public Finance Foundation's yearbook. It provides a comprehensive survey of: developments in the UK economy; public spending programmes; key changes in public service policy and management; the impact of EC institutions on UK public services; and central and local government finances. The contributors give an overview of trends and developments within the NHS, government departments, education, social services, the public utilities and other areas within the public sector. Separate chapters deal with Scotland and Northern Ireland. Developments within each public service are placed in the wider context of government spending on all services as a whole.
