Description
Elder Orphan Care provides help and hope for older adults in need, both in western Romania, where our ministry was birthed, and in Rowan and Cabarrus counties of North Carolina, where we are based.
In Romania, we partner with pastors to provide shelter, medical care, and nutrition for hundreds of people who are elder orphans, while sharing with them the love of God and the hope found only in Jesus.
In North Carolina, we serve adults aged sixty and older who wish to remain in their homes but are at risk of losing that ability due to safety concerns, poverty, or lack of support. We provide friendship, occupational therapy-based assessments, minor home modifications, as well as assistance with groceries and other necessities.
It is our desire to love our [older] neighbors, whether in Romania or North Carolina, with the love of God that has been lavished on us! (1 John 3:1)
