Synthesis, Characterization and Applications of Copper (II) Complexes

This book contains synthesis and structural description of copper (II) complexes with N- and O-donor ligands. The complexes have been found to possess potent DNA-binding and biological activity. This study represents an attempt to develop metal-based drugs with improved properties and less toxicity. Based on preliminary studies on their structure and activity, these complexes can find applications in drug therapy and drug designing.
