"Villa Pacifica" is the story of the creation of one family's dream house on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, of its hard times, and of its eventual renovation and rebirth. This book takes the reader on a detailed journey that started with the initial inspiration for the design of the house through its construction and completion, its subsequent rental history, and its eventual sale to a new owner who hired back the original architect to renovate it. The best custom houses are designed in close collaboration around a particular client's life, needs and aspirations.
