Crossing Paths

Every day, people all around the world meet by chance. These small moments sometimes change lives. These meetings can happen anywhere-on a bus, at work, or while shopping. Once in a while, these encounters feel special, as if fate brought them together. As queer people, we will explore these magical, life-changing encounters and follow these paths of love, mentorship, and friendship. Whether you are queer or an ally, we hope you will lose yourself in these stories and recognize how small coincidences that bring people together can create special, unforgettable bonds. But, more importantly, we encourage you to reflect on these moments. Have you experienced similar pivots in your life? If you did, what did you do? Would you handle it differently now? This anthology is unique in that we offer three types of stories: real, imagined, and reimagined. Real stories tell of true experiences, while imagined stories can take us on fantastic adventures. Reimagined stories give new life to old tales in fresh ways. By mixing these styles, writers express themselves freely and explore their ideas without any limits. It's our hope to expose you to a variety of voices and viewpoints in each narrative.
