Orsolya Orbán is a children's books illustrator born, raised, and currently living in Transylvania. Her mother jokes that she was born with a pencil in her hand. Orsi's talent is innate and her expertise self-taught, born of her will to learn and desire to pursue her passion. Orsi has been involved in a wide spectrum of illustration projects ranging from science books to card games and from educational books in India to storytelling festivals in the UK. She also writes and illustrates her own column in a Slovakian publication. While Orsi's friends wonder if she slips into the imaginary world of amazing characters she creates, Orsi is thrilled to be an artist: doing what she loves and creating drawings that entertain and heal halfway across the world.
