Las Vegas private detective Hank Stone is exhausted from a life of dead-end stakeouts and desperately needs a vacation. Seeking refuge under the sun of the Mayan Riviera, he hopes for a peaceful escape. But paradise turns deadly when Macarena, a beautiful woman he has quickly fallen for, witnesses a ruthless murder at a billionaire's mansion.
