Calling. Challenge. Perseverance. Joy. This book relays the stories of fourteen women in ministry, who discuss their experiences firsthand. From struggle to delight, each woman shares openly about her call to ministry, her journey to ordination, and the ups and downs of her ministry service. The women featured in this book were ordained by Baptist churches in Atlantic Canada between 1976 and 2021. Some were the first women their churches ever ordained. They have served as pastors, missionaries, chaplains, denominational leaders, community ministers, and more. Their pioneering work has changed lives around the world through Christ, and their stories will impact readers as well. Meant to be read individually or with a small group, the book provides readers with discussion and reflection questions at the end of each chapter.
