Quirky Anglesey

The Isle of Anglesey off the north-west coast of Wales has a remarkable and often unusual history. The treacherous Menai Strait separates the island from the mainland and its early settlers built standing stones and burial chambers from the rocks of Anglesey and the adjoining, smaller Holy Island.
