The Anglo Saxons

This teaching kit provides a wide range of resources for teaching this period of British history with an in-depth study of the Anglo Saxons. The structured teaching programme is organized into sections, each of which contains background information for the teacher, lessons plans, photocopiable fact sheets and activity sheets. The children's storybook is a fictional account, interspersed with factual events, of a year in the life of King Alfred's daughter, Elfrith. This book contains historically accurate illustrations and photographs of artefacts from the period. The kit also features a selection of posters, including paintings, artefacts and historical sites.
