Kids Talk

This collection of essays is devoted to the language of older children and adolescents. It offers a cross-disciplinary perspective, with contributors from sociolinguistics, anthropology and sociology, using a variety of analytic approaches. The chapters examine the skilful and varied ways in which young people of different ages, classes and ethnicities construct their world through language.
