Description
This is the seventh volume in the Wiley Series in Solid State Devices and Circuits, and deals comprehensively with the use of gallium arsenide for high frequency and high speed circuits. Gallium arsenide is being used increasingly as a specialist material for high-frequency active devices in both analog (microwave) and digital integrated circuits. The aim of this book is to bring together the fundamental and circuit aspects of gallium arsenide devices, and to discuss their technology, operation and limitations. To do this, the editors have drawn together contributors from academic and industrial research institutions in the UK and the US whose chapters cover a wide range of subjects, from the basic physical and electronic properties of gallium arsenide to recent results with analog and digital integrated circuits.
