Konziliare Gemeindebildung nimmt den gesellschaftlichen und politischen Kontext wahr und macht ihn zum Thema. In der lokalen Konkretion der Kommunikation des Evangeliums und in der synodalen Vernetzung der Gemeinden und kirchlichen Orte nimmt Kirche vielfältig Gestalt an. So ist Kirche mittendrin und nimmt in der ökumenischen Verbundenheit der Kirchen vom Rand her Stellung zu zentralen Fragen. [Inmidst the Word's Struggles. An Impulse for a Conciliar Development of the Church] The concept of a conciliar church development brings the inevitable diversification of congregational forms in nowadays people´s church together with the contemporary understanding of mission. The approach argues to perceive the social and political context and - in terms of Christian education - makes it the topic in the process of communication of the Gospel locally and in synodal and ecumenical networking. In this way the church follows its missionary task. It will change its position within the society and take position on central questions in the world´s struggles from the margins.
