Barbara A. Holzman is Professor of Geography and Environmental Studies at San Francisco State University. she has been teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in biogeography and environmental science for more than 15 years. She has traveled extensively in several tropical regions of the world, particularly Latin America. She is co-author of Geographical Measurements, published in 2003 and revised in 2005.
