This is the account of the author's journey to lose weight and become one of the "beautiful" people. It is a somewhat humorous account of his quest which takes him to camps to learn Tai Chi, visits to a Zen Monastery, cooking lessons and more. Along the way he realizes his life of following fad diets has not worked and he begins to develop a 360 degree plan that will help reinvent himself. This plan is spelled out and includes a successful program of sustainable weight loss plus life habits which enhance his overall health and self-image as well. It is not a "cookie cutter" plan but guidance to look weight loss from a new and healthier perspective.

Stephen is a retired professor of Management/leadership at Penn State University, Mont Alto where he taught upper level business courses. Prior to this he was a long term Dean of the John L. Grove College of Business at Shippensburg University. Steve is the author and co-author of six academic books and is the author of six workbooks and manuals. Over his career he published over 120 articles in various journals and trade magazines. He has public TV scripts to his credit and is the former contributing editor of a business audio magazine. He began his career with Merrill Lynch and was later a regional marketing director for a large bank. Steve has been an active consultant for over thirty years in many areas of business. In retirement he has authored five spy adventure novels, all fictionalized drama/action works based on facts. He writes these under the pen name of JTS Brown. He has a web site jtsbrownbooks, com where he discusses the stories and has pictures of sites from around the world where he traveled to conduct research for each book. Stephen loves to travel, bike and golf. He has four children and four grandchildren.
