Holmes, M.S., Oxford Brookes UniversityBarry Holmes is a Principal Lecturer and the Director of Professional Studies in the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at Oxford Brookes University, England. He joined the School in 1979, and lectures on computer programming languages, software engineering and safety-critical systems courses to undergraduate and postgraduate audiences. He is a member of the British Computer Society and a Chartered Engineer. He graduated from the University of London in 1971 with a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Physics, and a Certificate in Education; he was also awarded an M.Sc. in Computer Science from The City University (London) in 1977.
