Description
Continuing in the same well-written and accessible style as the first, this Second Edition of Serial Murder brings state-of-the-art research to the extant literature.
Seven new chapters thoroughly examine different types of serial killers, and there is an informative chapter on theories of such crimes. A more fully developed discussion on the victims is provided, and an entire chapter is devoted to exploring the kinds of problems and frustrations often encountered during the investigation of these acts of violence. The book also incorporates expanded coverage on the history of serial murder, and the issue of women as serial killers is also considered.
