Peter Holden is Head of the RSPB's Youth and Volunteer Department. He appears frequently on TV, including schools programmes and, in the past, the BBC's very popular Bird in the Nest. He lives in Bedford. Dr JTR Sharrock was until recently Managing Editor of the monthly magazine British Birds. He is author of a number of books including The Atlas of Breeding Birds in Britain and Ireland and Rare Birds in Britain and Ireland.
