Description
In Christina Holbrook's affecting new story collection, women struggle to define for themselves the meaning of love and success. Traveling the world to find their place in it or coming home to claim what is theirs, her heroines are vulnerable, fierce, and foolhardy-often in equal measure. Above all, they are complex and contradictory individuals, always on the verge of hope.
Holbrook's debut novel, All the Flowers of the Mountain, was published in 2022. The book is the 2023 Winner of the Colorado Book Award for Romance and also won a Bronze IPPY Award.
