DAVID M. BOOHER is an Eisner- and GLAAD-nominated writer of TV, film, and comics. He’s worked with most major comics publishers and he’s written stories for Ghostbusters, Dungeons & Dragons, Firefly, and Legendary’s Monsterverse. He co-created the original fantasy series Canto (Dark Horse), and his LGBTQ-focused stories have twice appeared in the New York Times in honor of Pride Month. A lawyer by training, he lives in Los Angeles with his husband and the true brains behind their operation—their adopted greyhounds.
Dave Scheidt is a writer from Chicago, Illinois. He first started writing stories when he was ten years old and hasn’t stopped since.
Rachel Silverstein is a law school graduate turned comic writer based out of Long Island, New York. In her free time, she plays guitar, builds pottery, and takes care of a plethora of pets.
Benjamin A. Wilgus wrote his first comics for Avatar almost twenty years ago, and is thrilled to be back at it again! His most recent original work is Grace Needs Space! with artist Rii Abrego, and his previous books include The Mars Challenge, illustrated by Wyeth Yates; and Chronin, a solo graphic novel duology. Ben has also worked as an editor for First Second Books, Penguin Random House, and Chooseco, the publisher of Choose Your Own Adventure.
Brandon Hoàng is the author of the critically acclaimed young adult novel Gloria Buenrostro Is Not My Girlfriend , the middle-grade novels The Crossbow of Destiny, and Minecraft: One Last Quest.
Before transitioning to writing, Brandon was an animation executive who worked on shows such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and yes, The Legend of Korra. Now a screenwriter by day and novelist by night, he currently resides in the Pacific Northwest, with his wife and two daughters.
Meredith McClaren is a little gremlin that hovels in the southwest. She only really knows how to comic and bake. She really just wants to nap with her cats.
Bell Bessa is a visual and story development artist with a focus on comics. Graduate of the 2023 Summer School in Visual Storytelling at Gobelins. Some notable work examples include the inks and layouts in "Ramen Rumble", an Avatar: The Last Airbender comic released for Free Comic Book Day 2025, and visual development for a few adorable cats in the animated short "The Legend of Pipi".
