Description
Conejo and Raton find a mitten! But who could it belong to? Join the two friends as they journey through the forest in this Spanish-language graphic novel for emerging readers.
Oh no! A lost red mitten. Conejo and Raton want to return the mitten, but first they'll have to figure out who it belongs to. Ardilla? No. Tejón? Nope. As they continue through the forest and meet new creatures, Conejo and Raton are excited to find the real owner. They're doing a good deed!
But when the time comes, can Conejo give up the mitten? Rojo is his favorite color, after all! With a knowing ear and eye for the moods of young children, Jannie Ho has crafted a tale about doing the right thing (even if it's hard) for young readers with bright colors and cute woodland figures. Simple panels and accessible Spanish vocabulary will aid both Spanish-speaking beginning readers and young Spanish language learners as they enjoy the gentle banter between true friends.
