Delay of Game

Half-elf Dominic Greyson doesn't have an off switch. When his sister asks for help, he doesn't hesitate. The problem: her husband, the team's starting quarterback, keeps falling apart on game day, and no one can explain why. Before Dom can start digging, a car accident leaves him with a concussion. Even with lights shining too bright and his thinking running slow, he investigates the only way he knows how: become the job, take the hit, and keep going. What he finds isn't a slump. It's sabotage. Someone is deliberately hobbling the quarterback, slowly and patiently. When they strike someone far outside the game, Dom has to decide what he's still fighting for-and whether there's enough of him left to do it.
