Rimo

An expedition in central Asia along the historic Silk Road is related by the son of Sir Edmund Hillary. He sets out with Indian, Australian, British and American team-mates on the ancient trade route linking Ladakh with Kashgar in an attempt to climb Rimo, a peak in the eastern Karakoram. Peter Hillary has climbed extensively in New Zealand, North America and the Himalayas. He is the author of "A Sunny Day in the Himalayas", "First Across the Roof of the World" and with Sir Edmund Hillary "Two Generations".
