Skin Disorders

This text covers a wide variety of disorders of the skin: those originating with the integumentary system, as well as those that are manifestations of systemic diseases. It opens with a colour atlas of skin disorders, which is follwed by a chapter on assessment. Chapters three to 10 present an array of skin disorders and systemic diseases. The concluding chapters present various dermatologic therapies, including drug treatments. Complete and detailed nursing care is presented in a 15-step nursing process format. Patient teaching sections are included for every disorder.
