A Complete AutoCAD Databook

This work describes the major features of the latest release of the industry standard draughting and design package. It is an integrated text that is aimed both at the absolute beginner with no computer experience and the experienced AutoCAD user. The book covers aspects of AutoCAD usage from initial set-up, through the creating of simple two-dimensional line drawings, to the most complex 3D aspects of the package. Descriptions of related commands are grouped together for coherence and the format of commands and responses is pres ented on the page in thesame way as it appears on the computer screen. The authors cover the construction of complex 3-D designs using the advanced features of the package, data transfer between AutoCAD and dBASE III+, and other advanced features such as the generation of user specified shapes, line types and hatch patterns, writing screen and table menus.
