Hickory Dickory

Now available as a big book, Hickory Dickory is one of the Pathways Signpost books at Reception level. It is a collection of well-known nursery rhymes, ideal for use in the Literacy Hour.


This is a collection of seven well-known nursery rhymes, each carefully illustrated and chosen because they are likely to be familiar to children. The illustrations help to tell the story of each rhyme, enabling the child to talk about what happens. These verses have also been chosen because they have strong rhythmic and rhyming qualities; the child will be able to use his/her knowledge of these to help them to read the printed version, learning particular reading skills as they do so.
