Discovering the Past: Britain and the Great War

This pupil's book is part of a history unit designed to suit pupils of all abilities who are investigating the powerful events of the Great War. It embraces all strands of the Attainment Targets of the National Curriculum in Key Stage 3 - particularly Years 8 and 9 (ages 12 and 13). The pupil's book is accompanied by a teacher's evaluation pack which gives teachers guidance on National Curriculum Attainment Targets and assessment, together with photocopiable worksheets for homework and to support exercises in the pupil's book. "Britain and the Great War" is part of the "Discovering the Past" seris, an integrated series of full-colour textbooks covering National Curriculum history for ages 5 to 16.
