Description
Software development is becoming more and more complex and dynamic. The strength of traditional Requirements Engi-neering methods lies in formalization of existing user require-ments. However, if - such as in Internet applications, for exam-ple - requirements and/or technical solutions are unclear, a flexible, rapid process is required that integrates know-how of users and developers and focuses on the essential. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) meets these requirements. QFD is aimed at a software that presents not all technically possible characteristics but only those that are important for success. Requirements Engineering with QFD is goal-oriented, rapid, flexible and customer-oriented. The book includes a guide to the method and shows several practical examples from SAP AG and other companies.
