Description
In 1982, brothers Gilbert and Jaime Hernandez created "Love & Rockets", an astonishing mixture of magical realism, science fiction, and meditations on the human condition which became one of the most critically acclaimed series of all time. Welcome to the mythical Central American town of Palomar, and meet Luba, the town's larger-than-life mayor. With tales weaving in and out of the town's entire population, "Heartbreak Soup" is a complex tapestry of Latin American life. Multi-award-winning writer and artist, Gilbert Hernandez presents densely plotted and deeply imagined tales, often compared with magic realist authors like Gabriel Garcia Marquez - a must for any fan of truly adult comics!
