Part of the "Great Walks" series, this volume offers a selection of 30 walks of differing lengths and degrees of difficulty across Ireland. The routes are grouped in four areas: the East, covering Wicklow, Galtees, Comeraghs and Mournes; the North-West, covering Donegal and Sligo; the West, covering Galway, Mayo and Clare; and the South-West, covering Kerry. There are detailed route descriptions and maps provided for each walk, together with information on features of interest along the way. The walks range from short, easy strolls to tough mountain traverses.
