Mark R. Henry is a lifelong student of military history and an experienced re-enactor of many periods. He served in the US Army as a signals officer from 1981-90, in Germany, Texas and Korea. He holds a BA degree in History and is currently working for his Master's. His special interest lies in the United States' armed forces of the 20th century. Mike Chappell spent 22 years in infantry soldiering, retiring in 1974 as RSM of the 1st Bn., The Wessex Regiment (Rifle Volunteers). Since beginning to paint military subjects in 1968 Mike has gained world-wide popularity as a military illustrator, and has been a prolific artist and author for Osprey for well over 20 years. He currently lives and works in Kent, UK.
