Islands in the Stream

The story of an artist and adventurer--a man much like Hemingway himself--Islands in the Stream begins in the 1930s and follows the fortunes of the intriguing Thomas Hudson, from his years as a painter on a Gulf Stream island through his antisubmarine activities off the coast of Cuba during World War II.
