John Heisler joined the University of Notre Dame sports information staff in 1978, was named sports information director in 1988, and currently serves as senior associate athletics director for media and broadcast relations. He is the author or editor of several books on Notre Dame, including 100 Things Notre Dame Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die, Greatest Moments in Notre Dame Football History, and University of Notre Dame Football Vault. He lives in Granger, Indiana. Tim Prister has been writing about the Fighting Irish since 1980. He served as editor of Blue & Gold Illustrated for 20 seasons before being named senior writer for the publication, and he has since joined IrishIllustrated.com as well. He is the author of The New Gold Standard: Charlie Weis and Notre Dame's Rise to Glory and What It Means to Be Fighting Irish. He lives in South Bend, Indiana.
