Clinical Resource Allocation

The aim of this text is to provide managers and clinicians in health services with an overview of the inter-relationships between a number of key features of clinical management. The book should be of interest to consultants and other senior doctors (senior registrars and registrars), to clinical directors, to managers and those staff concerned with the implementation of specific projects concerned with resource management. An organizational development framework is used in order to promote effective implementation. The intention of the book is to generate a balance and a synthesis between a detailed knowledge of technical issues, conceptual understanding of the inter-relationships and implementation of these areas, in the context of the management of health services and the organizational development capacity required to make sense of the implementation.
