The Wallace Collection

The Wallace Collection in London's West End will celebrated its centenary as a national museum open to the public on 25 June 2000. Its picture collection, probably best known for its magnificent eighteenth-century French paintings, also includes masterpieces by Titian, Rembrandt, Rubens and Van Dyke, among works by many other well-known Dutch, Flemish, Spanish, Italian and English painters. This one-volume summary catalogue illustrates all the pictures incolour for the first time and updates information about them.
