Sue Heap is an award-winning illustrator whose titles include the 1998 Gold Smarties Book Prize-winning Cowboy Baby (9780744563306) and Let's Play Fairies (9780744594973). She studied at Hull College of Art and went on to work in an electronics factory, for an animation company and as a designer at various children's book publishers, before becoming a full-time illustrator. She lives in Oxfordshire.
