In double-column format on 8½ by 11 inch pages, the Handbook reprints portions of old and new Title 46 (completed in 2006) and other Titles (28 and 49), U.S-ratified international conventions (e.g., COGSA, COLREGS), and unratified conventions (e.g., arrests, liens, collisions). Uniquely, the Handbook photo-reproduces documents in shipping (e.g., insurance, bills of lading, charter parties) and in admiralty litigation (e.g., claim forms, vessel arrest papers). Although designed to work with the named casebook, it is also suitable for use with all admiralty casebooks.
