Role-play Activities

This series provides practical dip-in activities to support the 'Early Learning Goals'. The ideas will provide a collection of quick-to-use timed activities with supporting photocopiables (to include activity sheets, poems, stories and songs). ROLE PLAY ACTIVITIES will provide suggestions for a range of role-play areas, provided to allow children the freedom to play as well as structured activities across the six areas of learning. Divided into 8 chapters, each providing a new location (At the seasiide, In the den, Building site, On the Stage, At the garage, In the kitchen, Three little pigs, Sports club) there are six activity ideas for each of the play areas. The activities include playing beach games, learning country dance patterns and an aerobic exercise class. Eight pages provide details of how to set up the role-plays with large diagrams showing the required items. A total of 16 photocopiables provide additional support.
