Dr. Thomas McDonagh is the coauthor of 101 Ways to Conquer Teen Anxiety and contributor to additional publications. Tom works as a clinical psychologist in San Francisco, California. He is the owner of the group psychology practice Good Therapy SF.
Born in NY and raised in the Midwest, Tom has enjoyed using his profession as an excuse to move around the country. He moved to California in 2011 as a postdoctoral fellow with Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa. Prior to moving west he was an undergrad at Manhattan College in Bronx, New York, attended graduate school at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and completed his predoctoral internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. In his free time Tom enjoys taking advantage of all Northern California has to offer, including skiing, swimming, and live music.
