Someplace Slower is not a conventional travel guide.

Rather than prescribing a route, the book gathers impressions, images and suggestions drawn from first-hand experience. Each destination opens with a short introduction that establishes atmosphere and perspective, before recommendations follow. The result is a volume that is guided not by pace, but by attention.
