Introduction to Critical Care Nursing

This introductory text is designed to be of interest to both undergraduate nursing students and nurses new to critical care. It provides information common to all critical care nursing - information that has been identified through the author's research. The book is organized into three sections: fundamental concepts, tools for the critical care nurse and nursing care during critical illness. The book also covers code management and new technology, and includes an overview of care for the burned patient and nursing care plans.
